About PDF Adjutor
A small, independent PDF toolkit built on a simple belief: your documents should not have to leave your computer to be edited.
Most online PDF tools upload your files to a server, process them, and hand them back. For a boarding pass that is fine. For a contract, a medical record or a passport scan it is an unnecessary risk — and an unnecessary cost for whoever runs the service.
PDF Adjutor flips that model. Everything is done in your browser using WebAssembly, Canvas and modern JavaScript. There is no file storage, no processing queue and no server-side copy of your document. Only feedback that you choose to submit is sent to our server.
The project is funded by a small number of clearly marked ads. There is no paid tier holding features hostage, and there are no AI features that would require sending your document to a third party.
Our principles
- Do not upload what can be processed locally.
- Do not watermarks, meter or degrade free output.
- Do not require an account to do a one-minute task.
- Do not add features that leak documents to third parties.
Built with open-source software
PDF Adjutor stands on the shoulders of pdf-lib, PDF.js, Tesseract.js, SheetJS, docx, mammoth, PptxGenJS, JSZip, jsPDF and Tailwind CSS.
