Files you open
Files are read directly from your device by your browser. They are not transmitted to us or to any third party. When you close the tab, the file is gone from memory.
What we do collect
Server access logs include IP addresses and browser information. We use them to limit abuse and count visits to public pages. Navigation within the site sends the public page path for counting. Daily totals are kept for 90 days without visitor identifiers, file names or document contents. Traffic statistics use no tracking cookies.
Feedback you submit
The request form sends your selected category, title, description, language and optional contact email to our server. It never reads or attaches your open PDF files. Feedback is private, available only to the site operator, and deleted automatically after the retention period of 90 days. A temporary hash of the request IP is used to limit spam; the feedback database does not store raw IP addresses. You can use the request form and quote your reference number to ask for deletion.
Cookies and local storage
We store your theme and language preferences in local storage. Advertising partners may set cookies for ad frequency capping and fraud prevention. You can block these without losing any functionality.
Advertising
Ads are served by third-party networks (for example Google AdSense). Those networks may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google settings or by using an ad blocker. The tools work identically either way.
Children
PDF Adjutor is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
This page describes what the site does today. If the practice ever changes, the date above changes with it.
