PowerPoint to PDF
Convert a .pptx deck into a PDF without PowerPoint. Slides are rebuilt in your browser from their text runs and images, then written to a fixed-layout PDF with the presentation’s own page size. The result is a structural approximation rather than a pixel-perfect render.
How it works
- 1
Add a .pptx file
Modern PowerPoint files only — old .ppt is a different binary format.
- 2
Slides are rebuilt
Text blocks and images are read from the slide XML and drawn on a canvas.
- 3
Save the PDF
One PDF page per slide, at the presentation’s aspect ratio.
Your privacy is the point
This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Canvas. Your file is never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by anyone but you.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the PDF not look exactly like PowerPoint?+
This tool reads the underlying XML instead of running PowerPoint’s layout engine. Text is re-flowed, theme fonts and colours are replaced, and shapes, charts, SmartArt, animations and transitions are skipped. Simple text-and-image decks look close; designed slides will not.
Can I convert a .ppt file?+
Not here. The old binary .ppt format cannot be parsed safely in a browser. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or LibreOffice and save it as .pptx first.
