Word to PDF
Turn a Word .docx into a PDF without uploading it anywhere. Headings, lists, tables and images are kept, and you decide which paper size and margins to use.
How it works
- 1
Add your document
Drop a .docx file — old .doc files need to be re-saved first.
- 2
Choose the page setup
Pick A4 or Letter, adjust margins, and include or skip images.
- 3
Convert and save
The PDF is built on your device and saved as <name>.pdf.
Your privacy is the point
This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Canvas. Your file is never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by anyone but you.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF look exactly like the Word file?+
Close, but not identical. The page is rendered as a high-resolution image, so fonts, spacing and layout stay faithful to what your browser shows, while Word-only features such as text boxes, columns and tracked changes may be simplified. Because pages become images, text in the PDF is not selectable.
Can I convert an old .doc file?+
No. The converter reads the modern .docx format only. Open the file in Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs and save it as .docx, then convert again.
Are embedded images included?+
Yes, by default images embedded in the .docx are extracted and placed exactly where they appear. Turn the option off for a smaller, text-only PDF.
