Edit PDF
Add text, images, shapes, highlights and white boxes directly on top of a PDF page. Every element is placed with the mouse or trackpad, then flattened into the page content when you export — so the result looks the same in any viewer.
How it works
- 1
Pick a tool and draw
Choose text, image, shape, highlight or whiteout, then click or drag on the page.
- 2
Adjust the details
Drag to move, pull the corner handle to resize images, and set colour, size and bold.
- 3
Export a flattened copy
All edits become part of the page, so they can no longer be moved afterwards.
Your privacy is the point
This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Canvas. Your file is never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by anyone but you.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still edit the text after exporting?+
No. Elements are flattened into the page content stream, which is what makes them show up everywhere. Keep the original PDF if you expect to make changes later.
Why is my Chinese text an image?+
The built-in PDF fonts only cover Latin characters. CJK and emoji are rendered with your system font and embedded as a transparent image, which keeps them sharp but not selectable.
Does it work on rotated or scanned pages?+
Yes. Rotated pages are mapped back to their original orientation, and the editor works on top of a rendered image, so scanned pages are fine too.
