This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Canvas. Your file is never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by anyone but you.
Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark go behind the page content?+
No. This tool draws the watermark on top of the existing page content. Placing it behind would require splitting the page into layers, which is not reliable across real-world PDFs — so it is not offered rather than promised and faked.
Will the watermark be selectable text?+
Latin text is drawn with a standard PDF font and stays selectable. Chinese, Japanese and emoji are rasterised into an image, so they look right but are not text. In both cases the watermark is flattened into the page.
Can I remove the watermark later?+
Not from this file — the watermark becomes part of the page content. Keep the original PDF and run the tool again with different settings if you need a different version.
