Fill PDF forms
Fill the interactive form fields already inside a PDF — text boxes, checkboxes, dropdowns, option lists and radio buttons — then optionally flatten the answers so they cannot be changed. Everything happens in your browser.
How it works
- 1
Open the form
Fields are detected automatically and grouped by the page they appear on.
- 2
Fill in your answers
Type, tick or choose a value for each field. Read-only fields are marked.
- 3
Save the result
Keep the fields interactive, or flatten them into fixed page content.
Your privacy is the point
This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and Canvas. Your file is never uploaded to a server, never stored and never seen by anyone but you.
Frequently asked questions
What if the PDF has no form fields?+
Then there is nothing to fill — the document is probably a scan or a flat export. Use the Edit PDF tool to place text directly on the page instead.
Should I flatten the form?+
Flatten if you want the answers to look identical everywhere and prevent further edits. Keep it unflattened if the recipient may need to correct or extend the answers.
Why are some characters missing from a field?+
PDF form appearances use the font stored in the document, which often only covers Latin characters. The value itself is saved, but non-Latin text may not render in some viewers. Flattening uses the same font.
